I HEART MCCSC!

Dear Panda Family,

As residents of Monroe County, we have another important referendum to decide to support or not during the upcoming November election. What's at stake this time around?

The November 7 ballot includes an operations referendum to finance unfunded needs. These include:
● affordable early childhood education
● instructional materials
● access to technology
● CTE & AP testing fees

Creating this access supports the school corporation’s equity goal of removing barriers so that all students and families may fully participate in the highest quality educational experience.

Quality early childhood education improves school readiness, and readiness is a reliable predictor of long-term achievement. Here in MCCSC, making early quality childhood education available for all will better prepare our youngest students for success.

  • Free Pre-K for 3-year-olds whose families meet free/reduced lunch guidelines
  • Free or reduced-cost 4-year-old Pre-K
This serves our families by making PreK available for all and serves our community by giving more parents the opportunity to work outside the home, making their talent available for local employers.
